Ronda Ibex hunt method is by stalking in Government game reserves or private areas.
Morphologically it is the smallest of the four different types of ibex which are differentiated in our country.The horns grow upwards in a V shape and then backward with a spiral twist of just 90 degrees. While this is the typical shape of the horn of the Ronda ibex, other formations may be found in this region, even within the same herd.
Ronda Ibex hunting takes place in Ronda mountains and other mountains located in Cadiz and Malaga provinces, in Southern Spain.

Travel to the hunting area
Travel by car to the hunting area. The trip will last one or two hours depending on the area chosen by our team to hunt.
Reception and dinner
All our guests will have a reception at the accommodation with our team where they will have dinner and can discuss the details of the hunt.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We usually have breakfast at the lodge or near the hunting ground. A time will be agreed to have breakfast during dinner the day before. After that, we will start to hunt.
Lunch
We usually hunt close to the lodge where we have lunch and have time to take rest before going again to hunt at the afternoon.
Departure to the lodge and dinner
We will go back at the lodge after the sunset. Once we get there, we will have dinner, discuss about the hunting day and agree what to do during the next hunting day if we were not successful during that day (Day 2).
We usually have breakfast at the lodge. A time will be agreed to have breakfast during dinner the day before.
Departure to the airport or other activities
We take all our clients to the airport upon request. Also, there are many activities in the area if the client wants to continue enjoying their vacation.

When is the best season for Ronda Ibex hunting and why is rutting important?
We strongly recommend to hunt Ronda ibex during the rut time, during November and December. Spring time (March-April) is a good time to do it as well when we can find herds of males.
What terrain and conditions can you expect during a Ronda Ibex hunt in the Ronda mountains?
The hunt takes place is rocky places located at southern Spain. The weather usually is 80 % sunny combined with rains. The average temperature during the rut is 5 ºC on early morning and 20 º at noon.
How does your Ronda Ibex hunting package accommodate accommodation and guided stalking experiences?
The hunter will be lodged in comfortable hotels or rural lodges inside or nearby the hunting area where they serve typical Spanish cousine and the staff is very friendly. They will feel as their homes. We usually go for hunting very early morning after having breakfast at the lodge or in a place located in the hunting area. At noon, we do an small break to have lunch in the mountains. At the end of the day, after the hunt, we will go back to the lodge to have dinner.
